Abstract

Where have all the customers gone? The lines forming behind traditional media forms are growing shorter, while consumers are flocking in masses toward digital media sources for information. As a result, the ways in which content is created and marketed are shifting as well. How will this shift change the face of science-based industries? This article discusses strategies for creating content and marketing it to consumers through digital media, optimizing advertising opportunities through a variety of digital platforms, and grabbing the attention of consumers and keeping the lines of communication open in the digital world.
