Milling & Baking: An International Perspective

With a major west coast grain exporting terminal as the backdrop to our meeting, the emphasis will be on international issues pertaining to end-use quality, and milling and baking topics in international grain utilization. There will also be discussions of domestic (i.e. U.S.) topics.

Conference Program​

Presentations will be made by both AACCI members and those working in international grain trade and use. Also included are optional tours of the Wheat Marketing Center and a grain export terminal on the Columbia River. Program questions? Registration

Registration fee includes coffee breaks and lunch. Reception included for those staying at the Embassy Suites Portland Downtown.

Online registration is open until April 18.

Cancellations/Refunds: Refunds for cancellation, less a $75 processing fee, will be made if cancellation is received, in writing, at AACCI headquarters on or before April 1, 2016. Notices of cancellation received after April 1, 2016 will not be eligible for a refund or credit. Requests for reception ticket refunds must be made 72 hours prior to the event (three business days). All requests for refunds will be paid, after the meeting, from AACCI.

Headquarter Hotel Information

A block of discounted hotel rooms has been reserved at the Embassy Suites Portland Downtown. This all-suite historic hotel is located in the heart of downtown Portland.

The deadline for booking your reservation is April 2, 2016 or until the room block is sold out, whichever is first. Rooms and/or discounted rates may not be available after April 2.

$209 single/double rate per standard room, plus 14.5% tax (subject to change)

$239 triple rate per standard room, plus 14.5% tax (subject to change)

$259 quadruple rate per standard room, plus 14.5% tax (subject to change)

Includes breakfast and nightly manager’s reception. All guest rooms are two-room suites featuring a living room with sofa bed, one king or two double beds, workstation, free internet, HDTV, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker/coffee, wet bar, hair dryer, and usual toiletries. Complimentary use of the business center, fitness center, and swimming pool.

Room rate is available 2 days before through 2 days after the meeting, based on availability.

Please note when planning travel: The program begins on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. with a Welcome Reception and ends on Friday, April 22, 2016 at noon.
